Every VOITED product is built thoughtfully—from recycled origins to modern performance. Here’s what goes into crafting your favourite blankets and accessories:

1. Ripstop REPREVE® Fabric (Outer Shells)

• What it is: A high-performance fabric made from recycled plastic bottles. REPREVE® transforms PET bottles into durable, adaptive fibres with natural wicking, breathability, and water resistance. 

• Why it matters: Reduces reliance on virgin plastics and gives waste a second life with premium performance. 

• Used in: All 4‑in‑1 PillowBlanket™ variants (CloudTouch®, Fleece, Ripstop), Picnic & Beach Blankets, Trooper Poncho‑Blanket, and more.

2. CloudTouch® Fleece

• What it is: An ultra-soft, plush insulating layer made from 100% recycled polyester (also from post-consumer bottles). It offers a wool‑like feel—lofty, lightweight, quick‑dry. 

• Why it matters: Adds warmth and luxurious softness using post‑consumer materials, making every cuddle eco-friendly.

3. 3D Featherlight Fiber Insulation

• What it is: A breathable micro‑thermal fill (a lightweight synthetic loft) layered between outer ripstop and inner fleece. 

• Why it matters: Provides down-like insulation—light, compressible, and warm—without animal products.

4. Bionic Finish® Eco (Fluorine-Free DWR Coating)

• What it is: A durable, water-repellent, stain-resistant finishing treatment that’s fluorine‑free and plant-based. 

• Why it matters: Keeps you dry and stain-free using an environmentally healthier water-repellent solution.

5. Recycled Micro-Fleece (Picnic & Beach Blanket)

• What it is: A soft quick-dry fleece made from recycled plastic bottles—dual-sided with ripstop for abrasion resistance. 

• Why it matters: Perfect for sandy or damp spots—soft, sustainable, and easy to clean.

6. REPREVE® Our Ocean™ (Poncho Outer Fabric)

• What it is: Ripstop fabric made from ocean-bound plastic bottles. Treated with waterproof PU laminate and Bionic Finish® Eco. 

• Why it matters: Cleans plastic from our waterways while offering top-tier water protection—an elegant adventure with purpose.

7. Other Sustainable Materials

• Alpha & Beta Jacket Lines:

  • Alpha uses 100% long-fibre cotton yarn with an EcoElite™ membrane.

  • Beta uses 51% recycled nylon Taslan with EcoElite™ coating.
    While not directly part of blankets, they reflect VOITED’s consistent sustainable design ethic.
